  City cab hit my parked vehicle in Kmart parking lot. Driver gave police and myself a nonexistent policy # for their insurance. In Michigan, if you hit a properly parked vehicle it is considered private property and the person that hit it is 100% responsible for all damages and repairs as well as a rental car fee if needed. Estimate for car repairs is over 1900.00. Steve who handles everything is absolutely unprofessional and rude. When I called him this morning about my rental car as my car will be out for 6 days he refused to pay it and said it's not his legal responsibility. Although it is Michigan law. He told me I was lying and he's not in a rental business and it's my problem. He refused to give me the correct insurance information of his vehicles until I let him know I was at the police department standing with an officer and it is my legal right to have that information. Finally he gave me a policy number. I found out he never filed a claim with his insurance company so his rates wouldn't go up. I told him that per Michigan law he's responsible for my rental car he called me a liar and said he had an attorney. I told him I was trying to avoid calling his insurance to file a claim bc of his rates, he laughed and told me I'm not legally allowed to file a claim with his insurance. Also false. I had my insurance agent call Steve to let him know the laws, he refused to take the phone call today. I then contacted his insurance company to verify his policy and that he was legally responsible for all damages & rental fee and they apologized for his behavior and said if he doesn't take care of all fees to call them back and to file a claim and they will 100% take care of absolutely everything.
  
  This company alreadt has a horrible star rating plus bad reviews. Use someone else. And if they hit your vehicle that is PROPERLY PARKED just know that it is THE LAW THEY PAY FOR EVERYTHING. Don't let them bully you hang up on you and treat you bad for their own fault accidents of parked vehicles.
  
  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and lacks any kind of morals.
